Below is a brief guide for scheduling an appointment on the myKnight STAR platform.
Access your myUCF Portal
Log in to your myUCF portal using your NID and NID password to access your Student Self Service menu.
myKnight STAR homepage
Select the “Get Assistance” button on the right of the myKnight STAR student homepage.
Choose an appointment type
Select the type of advising appointment you are interested in from the drop-down menus and click “Next”.
Confirm the location
Select “Engineering and Computer Science” as the location and your assigned CECS advisor from the drop-down menu as the staff member.
Select a date and time
Select a date that works well with your schedule and choose either the morning or afternoon block for a drop-down menu of available times. Select a time from the available times listed. Use the arrow to advance weeks or go back. You will be able to schedule an appointment up to two weeks in advance. Click “Next” when you have chosen a date and time.
Confirm your appointment
Review the details related to your appointment. If applicable, add any comments for your advisor related to your appointment. Select your preferred method of reminder. Finally, select “Confirm Appointment” to schedule your advising appointment.
